Advertising, a $600B market, is fully plannable—meaning marketers have an array of non-Google planning products to forecast ad-campaign performance. As ad spend shifts to digital platforms, marketers expect similar planning capability from Google (e.g., “shifting 20% spend from TV->YouTube can double the number of people who view your ad”). This did not exist three years ago.
